Wildlife, forest paths, and tall trees

ABOUT US

Care, protect, and educate

In solidarity with ecologists, naturalists and the Helsinki City Museum, now and for future generations, I have a commitment to care for and educate about the wildlife, forest paths and tall trees.

In the forests of Helsinki are many archaeological artefacts and structures. I will show them to you, and you can take pictures of them as I explain what they are and who built them, however they are under heritage protection.

"When I was ten years old, I began exploring the forest outside my back door in backwoods Canada. These were solo explorations, from dawn to dusk, watching the migration of wildlife, the changing seasons on foot, skis and snowshoes.

When I moved to Finland, I soon discovered that the forests around my house were filled with animals, archaeological artefacts and ruins, rewilding efforts, and quiet spots filled with tall trees that were easily accessible with the right guidance."
